The above option cable is intended for domestic use. For North America and Canada, UL and CSA certified products must be used, and for the EU, TUV certified products are required; therefore, separate arrangements will be made for exports. Additionally, due to difficulties in sourcing connectors and cables suitable for China, only terminal block type encoders will be sold for the Chinese market. Furthermore, we will not be handling the sale of cables. If you wish to connect to a power supply of AC 125 V or higher for domestic use, only terminal block types will be available for sale. The connectors adopted comply with Japan's Electrical Safety Law, so they cannot be used for AC 125 V or higher.

What is the protection level (IP)?

The protection rating (IP) of the RP series is based on the waterproof and dustproof characteristics of electrical and mechanical equipment, in accordance with the Japanese Industrial Standards JIS C 0920 (corresponding to IEC 529), and the testing methods are defined by classifying the ratings as follows.
