Improving energy efficiency is a key challenge in next-generation automobiles. To address this challenge, it is necessary to more accurately understand energy losses and precisely capture even slight torque fluctuations in the power transmission mechanism. The TQ-3507 flange-type high-rigidity torque detector, developed with a target torque capacity of 5 kNm, can accurately capture minute torque fluctuations.

1. Achieves excellent mechanical properties.

The torsional resonance frequency of the detector alone is approximately 3,500 Hz.
We increased rigidity while maintaining accuracy. This increased rigidity allows for accurate simulation of actual vehicle driving conditions on the test bench, and also enables precise detection of even slight torque fluctuations.

Lightweight
By redesigning the structure, we achieved a weight reduction of approximately 3 kg compared to the previous model while maintaining high rigidity.

2. Achieves high-precision measurement.

The most fundamental characteristic for achieving high-precision measurement is the nonlinearity, including hysteresis, of the torque sensor. A high-precision option allows for accuracy of ±0.02% FS.

3. Highly durable, robust detector

It has passed load endurance tests of over 10 million cycles at a rated torque of ±100%. Furthermore, a sufficient safety factor is ensured for the material yield strength of the detector.
Limit torque: 10 kN·m (200% of rated torque)
Breaking torque: 20 kN·m (400% of rated torque)

It can accurately measure transient torque during driving on snowy or uneven roads, which can be simulated on a test bench.
