Combining the Fuel Density Meter, Volumetric Flow Detector, and digital flow meter enables effective mass flow measurement with good rangeability.

The Fuel Density Meter FD-5110 can be connected to the digital flow meter FM-3100 to measure temperature and density data in real time.
Mass flow measurement is essential for energy efficiency evaluation to conduct detailed engine assessments.
In the field of engine testing, density values change due to fuel type, fuel temperature variations, and refueling.
By measuring the volumetric flow rate with the FP series, which has a wide range of availability, and using the real-time changing density values and temperature data from the density meter, mass flow can be measured accurately.

Features

1. Achieve low pressure loss and improvement of accuracy in low flow range.

When combined with the Volumetric Flow Detector FP series, a pressure loss of 20 kPa or less (at 60 L/h) is achieved.
The detector can be installed while minimizing pressure fluctuations in the flow path. Compared to the FZ-2200A, it has improved accuracy in the low flow range, making it ideal for startup tests and more.

Combining various FP series detectors from low flow to high flow, servo type, explosion-proof, and vehicle-mounted types, the FM-3100 enables mass flow measurement.
If you wish to add the FD-5110 detector to the already purchased FP-5000 series, we will accept installation work at your location. (Installation costs will be estimated separately)

4. Eliminate the complexity of mass conversion in mode tests and performance tests.

In engine research and development, tests are conducted using different fuels depending on the destination. The fuel density varies with the type of fuel. Additionally, even when the fuel type remains the same, the fuel density changes when new fuel is added. When converting mass flow rates, the Fuel Density Meter can output real-time changes in density values, allowing the process of inputting density values into the calculation unit to be omitted.
