MP-900/MP-9000シリーズ

The MP-900/MP-9000 series are sensors that are primarily mounted on a rotating shaft and positioned close to the teeth of a detection gear to extract a frequency signal proportional to the rotational speed.

From low-cost, general-purpose models to specialized models such as oil-proof and heat-resistant types, you can choose according to your application.

*Signal cables (except for models with directly attached signal cables), extension cables, and connectors are sold separately.

Features

  • It has a simple structure, excellent rigidity and environmental resistance, and is unaffected by vibration, temperature, oil, dust, etc.

  • Because it uses non-contact detection, safe measurement is possible without putting any load on the rotating body.

  • As it is self-generating, it does not require a power source and is ideal for on-site installation.

  • A wide range of products including oil-proof, high-temperature, ultra-compact, and long types.

a) Distance from detection gear The narrower the spacing, the easier it is to detect even at low rotational speeds. Typically, a spacing of 0.5 to 1 mm is used.
b) Tooth profile of the detection gear We recommend involute gears.
c) Size of the detection gear We use a unit called module (M). This value determines the size of the teeth, and teeth with the same module number can bite together.
We recommend a module of 1 or higher and a tooth width of 4 mm.

d) Material of the detection gear Materials that are strongly attracted to magnets, i.e., ferromagnetic materials, are suitable. If a choice is possible, we recommend S45C, SS400, SUS430, FC400, etc.
