The MF-3200 vehicle-mounted flow detection device is a compact flow detection device compatible with vehicles, equipped with a cooling system that uses fuel from the tank.
For fuel return processing, a pressure control method using a high-precision pressure reducing valve is adopted.
It measures the fuel flow of diesel engines in combination with the DF/FM series digital flow meters.

* This is a fuel consumption measuring device for general diesel engines (self-priming type with injection pump).
It cannot be used for engines with special injection systems, such as vehicles equipped with a fuel feed pump in the fuel tank.
* Caution may be required when using it for engines with a high fuel circulation flow rate in the fuel injection system. Please check with us before use.
* If the return fuel from the engine is above 80 °C, please cool the fuel by installing a heat exchanger or similar.

Case Studies

Air bleeding during the installation of flow detectors in actual vehicle testing.

In the actual vehicle testing of diesel engines, the air bleeding process after installing the flow detector took a long time, and it was difficult to determine whether the air had been bled out.
By installing our air bleeding tank along with the flow detector, we can reduce the time for the air bleeding process and improve testing efficiency.
