This is an electrodynamic vibration detector for measuring the rotational speed of gasoline and diesel engines. By attaching it to the cylinder head or other parts of the engine, it detects rotational vibrations during combustion.
It's small, lightweight, and can be easily attached using the magnet on the bottom of the unit, making it very easy to handle. Furthermore, the detector and cable are heat-resistant, so you can use it safely even in the engine compartment.
The VP-1210/VP-1220 are high-sensitivity types and are effective detectors for objects with small vibrations.
This product is used in combination with our engine speed indicators (CT-6710, SE-2500, FT-2500, FT-7200, HT-6200, GE-2500).
