Noise testing software
GN-1200シリーズ

Multi-channel multi-comparator for streamlining NV inspection on production lines

This software is a comparator-based software for anomaly diagnosis that uses acoustic and vibration analysis.
Data measurement, frequency analysis/tracking analysis using two rotation inputs, and pass pass/fail judgment can be performed simultaneously.
This system is ideal for inline 100% inspection, such as vibration analysis of CVTs (continuously variable transmissions) and carrier noise analysis of motors.

New features

Enhanced performance of the base software

It comes standard with a pass/fail judgment function and can be used as a multi-channel comparator.

  • Simultaneous analysis of measured signals

In inspecting workpieces on a production line, simultaneous measurement and parallel analysis across multiple channels are necessary to reduce cycle time.
This system can simultaneously analyze and evaluate multiple items such as frequency analysis, tracking analysis, and octave analysis.

Enhanced octave analysis and judgment (1/3 bundled octave judgment function)

We've added a judgment function that uses 1/3 bundled octave analysis data, which allows for judgments of quality that closely resemble human hearing. In particular, judgment using the differences in data between adjacent bands is effective in extracting sounds that sound harsh or distorted.

Bivariate graphing function

Bivariate graphing function

Bivariate graphing function
You can select any two data points from the data input to the measurement channel/rotation speed channel of the data station, plot a two-axis graph, and perform correlation evaluation of the data. Using parameters such as torque, rotation speed, displacement, and vibration acceleration, it can be used to create inspection indicators for runout during operation of workpieces that rotate at high speeds, such as motors.

Feature Introduction

ORF input & recalculation function (GN-0100) / Secondary processing function (GN-0110)

This function allows you to read ORF files, perform recalculations, simultaneously display and overlay multiple tracking analysis data, and perform secondary processing such as Campbell plots and rotational variation analysis. It enables you to quickly identify resonances and abnormal behavior occurring in the workpiece, which can be used for workpiece improvement.
In online tracking mode with connected hardware in the DS-5000/DS-3200 series, it is possible to change the analysis conditions later and re-analyze using the data recorded immediately before. In offline mode, ORF files can be imported using the read-only screen shown below, and re-analysis can be performed under any analysis conditions.

* The GN-1200 can only recalculate by reading ORF files.

Spectral POA (Partial Overall) Determination

The determination is made by focusing on a specific frequency band where the peak is larger when damage occurs and summing the power.

Crest Factor Determination

Crest Factor Determination

When a defect occurs, abnormal components in the measured waveform are identified, and the determination is made based on the peak value/effective value (crown factor).

GN Link function (GN-0120/GN-0240)

The GN-1200 can be connected to and controlled by equipment used for performance testing of workpieces on the production line. Measurement data of sound/vibration of workpieces and equipment, as well as the results of workpiece pass/fail judgment, can be output to the equipment. Three communication formats are available: LAN format (GN-0120), LAN+DIO format (GN-0240), and RS-232C+DIO format (GN-0240).

*We can also accommodate custom orders for communication formats other than those listed above. For details, please contact our sales office or your nearest dealer.

  • Result file viewer function (GN-0130)

Color map display

This is a frequently used function for reviewing the entire dataset. Typically, it allows you to view all data except for the component you are interested in, and by displaying two graphs side-by-side, it becomes easier to compare differences in test conditions and test specimens.

Real-time octave analysis function (GN-0170)

This function uses 1/3 octave analysis to determine whether workpieces and equipment are normal or abnormal. By utilizing the geometrically uniform characteristics of 1/3 octave analysis with respect to frequency components, it enables quantitative judgments that closely resemble human hearing, supporting the construction of inspection systems that are not dependent on human judgment. Furthermore, by incorporating a function that calculates the optimal threshold using statistical processing based on previously determined normal data and automatically generates a judgment line, it helps reduce the effort required for managing judgment standards.

*DS-5000 support is planned for the near future.
