Contact-type digital handheld tachometer
HT-3200

A user-friendly, high-performance, compact, handheld contact-type Digital Tachometer.
By simply holding it in one hand and lightly pressing it against the rotating shaft, you can obtain a direct reading of the measurement result in r/min on the handheld display. Furthermore, by combining it with a peripheral speed ring, line speed measurement in m/min or mm/s is also possible.
The measurement range is wide, from a low speed of 0.5 r/min to 10,000 r/min, and rotational speed is measured with high precision with a resolution of 0.1 r/min or 1 r/min.
(Peripheral speed measurement range: 0.05 to 1000.0 m/min <when using KS-200 standard peripheral speed ring>, 0.5 to 10,000 mm/s <when using KS-100 optional peripheral speed ring>)
The measurement results can be saved as a history of up to 10 entries in the internal memory, which is convenient for reviewing and recording measurements after they have been taken.

*Please provide your own batteries.

Features

  • Wide measurement range from 0.5 to 10,000 r/min (resolution 0.1 r/min or 1 r/min)

  • While the measurement switch is pressed, the displayed measurement value changes every second in an automatic repeating measurement mode.

  • Includes a memory function for convenient confirmation of measurement results.
Ergonomically designed for a comfortable and easy-to-use feel.

  • By using a circumferential speed ring, it can also be used as a circumferential speed meter.

  • The final measurement value is held and displayed for approximately 30 seconds after measurement.

Specification

Hi Range: 1 r/min
Rotational speed measurement range Uses KS-300 (included)
Lo range: 0.5 to 2,000.0 r/min
Hi range: 5-10,000 r/min
Peripheral speed measurement range Use KS-100 (optional)
Lo range: 0.5–2000.0 mm/s
(Resolution 0.1 mm/s)
Hi range: 5-10000 mm/s
(Resolution 1 mm/s)
Uses KS-200 (included)
Lo range: 0.05–200.00 m/min
(Resolution 0.01 m/min)
Hi range: 0.5 to 1000.0 m/min
(Resolution 0.1 m/min)
The units of measurement cannot be changed.
When using the KS-200, reducing the measured value by 1/10 will give you a value in m/min units.
Measurement accuracy Uses KS-300 (included)
Lo range: 0.5 to 1249.9 r/min; within ±0.1 r/min
1250.0–2000.0 r/min; within ±0.2 r/min
Hi range: 5 to 10000 r/min; within ±1 r/min
Overrange display If the measured value exceeds the respective measurement range, the displayed value is fixed at the maximum value and the display unit shows an ERROR mark "ERROR".
Detection unit
Number of pulses 60 P/R
Detection element Transmissive photosensor
Display section
Number of display digits 5 digits
Character height 10.5 mm
Display method LCD 7-segment
Display update time 1 second (Lo range: 2 seconds for 0.5-1.0 r/min)
1 second (2 seconds in the Hi range: 5-10 r/min)
Measurement mode
Data hold function

After measurement is complete, the final measurement value will be displayed for approximately 30 seconds, and then the display will automatically turn off (auto power off) after 30 seconds.

Memory function Up to 10 measurement values can be stored in memory at the time the MEMORY/COND switch is pressed.
Since this memory value is stored in non-volatile memory, it is retained even when the power supply is cut off.
