An accelerometer that extracts the amount of mechanical vibration as an electrical signal proportional to the vibration acceleration.

The NP-3000 series offers a range of options from ultra-compact types with a mass of 0.4 g to 3-axis types that can extract the XYZ vibration directions simultaneously, waterproof types, and high-sensitivity types. You can choose the optimal sensor according to your purpose, usage conditions, and application needs.

Since the NP-3000 series has a built-in preamplifier in the sensor body, it allows for relatively inexpensive construction of the sensor signal input section and can be directly connected to our analysis equipment such as FFT analyzers. TEDS-compatible acceleration sensors have also been added.

TEDS = Transducer Electronic Data Sheet
A standard for sensors and actuators issued by IEEE (IEEE 1451.4-2004), which allows TEDS information written in the sensor to be transferred to a measurement system compatible with this standard when connected. This automates the input of calibration values that were previously done manually, preventing manual setting errors and reducing setup time.

Features

  • This is a Size Mo type vibration sensor, so no reference point is needed for measurement. Attach the sensor to the object being measured and take the measurement.

  • Compared to other vibration sensors, it is compact and lightweight, making it easy to install on the measurement target and easy to handle.

  • It has a wide dynamic range and is capable of measuring from small accelerations.

  • Generally, due to the high resonance frequency and the wide measurement frequency range, waveforms that contain broadband frequency components can be measured with minimal distortion.

  • We provide sensors with appropriate performance according to the purpose and conditions of use.

  • JCSS calibration support

It is a vibration meter consisting of mass (M), spring constant (K), and viscous resistance (C).
