Automakers are focusing on improving sound quality as part of their pursuit of comfort, reducing unpleasant noises and making the sounds that are produced feel pleasant.


Based on its experience in measuring vehicle noise and vibration, gained through joint research and development with automobile manufacturers, Ono Sokki has developed "Ragusa," application software that follows the flow of on-site measurement procedures.


This multi-channel software allows for easy, reliable, and secure data acquisition, and also boasts excellent maintainability.


We will meet the needs of those who are involved in measurement as part of their daily work, who want a user-friendly and stress-free measurement system.


Ragusa is an acronym for Rational Automobile's Gauge Unified System of Automatic Control.

Tracking Measurement RG-1100

Internal sampling frequency mode
Internal sampling frequency mode

Rotational tracking is the most commonly used method for measuring noise and vibration generated by rotating bodies. This is because the excitation force depends on the rotational speed. Rotational tracking measurement measures the relationship between this excitation force and the natural frequency of the rotating body.
There are modes for performing tracking measurements separately for each order (which tracks changes in rotational speed) and frequency (which measures specific analysis bands according to rotational speed), as well as a mode for performing them simultaneously, allowing for detailed measurements with simple operation.

Features

  • Measurement modes can be selected from external sampling order, internal sampling frequency, internal sampling order, and simultaneous internal/external sampling.

  • Simultaneous real-time display of tracking waveforms (up to 4 screens) and frequency (or order) spectra during measurement.

  •  Calculation function for up to 10 measurements each for acceleration and deceleration (maximum, minimum, average).

Hammering measurement device RG-1200

This method is often used to identify the susceptibility of a structure to vibration and to pinpoint problems. It involves measuring the vibration when an excitation force (impulse) is applied to the structure, and then measuring the spectrum using FFT. The problem is then solved by determining the frequency response function (FRF) between the excitation force and the vibration at the measurement point.

Features

  • Simultaneous real-time display of instantaneous waveform, frequency response function, phase spectrum, and coherence function during measurement.

  • Cancellation conditions can be set (double hammer cancellation, AD over-cancellation).

  • On the screen used to view and save the measured data, it is possible to switch between the frequency response function waveform and the power spectrum waveform.

This method is used to quickly identify the main causes of noise and vibration problems and to resolve them. Measurements primarily using FFT spectral analysis allow for the acquisition of information that cannot be obtained from time-domain signals (data). Furthermore, by comparing data with previously measured data, it is possible to quantitatively understand the effectiveness of improvements.

  • Simultaneous real-time display of phase spectrum, power spectrum, and time-domain waveform during measurement.

  • Measurement results can be displayed in bundles ranging from 1/1 octave to 1/12 octave.
