Magneto-Electric Rotation Detector
MP-9810/MP-9830
The MP-9810 and MP-9830 are non-contact type Magneto-Electric Rotation Detectors that incorporate magnetoresistive elements, permanent magnets, DC amplifiers, and voltage regulators within a compact body.
By bringing the detection gear's tooth tip close to the rotating shaft, they output stable rectangular wave signals from ultra-low to high speeds. Applications can be built in combination with the TM-4000 series Digital Tachometer and FV-1500 FV converter to measure the rotational speed of various rotating equipment.

The detection distance varies depending on the module of the detection gear, with larger modules allowing for longer detection distances. Additionally, the detection distance is dependent on temperature, and especially in cases where the ambient temperature varies significantly, it is advisable to minimize the detection distance during installation. Furthermore, the detectable range shown in the figure is applicable when the duty cycle of the output waveform is within the range of 50% ± 20%.
The Magneto-Electric Rotation Detector (MP-9810/MP-9830) needs to align the center of the gear teeth with the positioning mark.
