DS-3000 Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-0764

Windows 10 does not recognize the protection key, DS-0299 ONO-LINK2 (USB), or DS-0399 ONO-LINK3 (USB).

(Situation when the problem occurred)

The following message appears and communication is not possible (for example, in the case of DS-0299):

Please turn off the memory integrity setting.

 

 

Location of setting: (Settings may vary depending on the OS version)
Update & Security > Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation > Memory Integrity

  1. Open Windows Settings, then open Update & Security.
    Open Windows Settings, then open Update & Security.
  2. Open Device Security from Windows Security.
    Open Device Security from Windows Security.
  3. From Device Security, open Core Isolation.
    From device security, open core isolation.
  4. With core isolation enabled, select "Off" for memory consistency.
    With core isolation enabled, select Memory Integrity Off.
