How can I display tracking data (trc file) saved with the CF-0722 tracking analysis software in 3D?
When you save data after tracking analysis using the CF-0722 tracking analysis software, the data is saved as a file with the tracking analysis extension ".trc" (hereinafter referred to as a trc file). This data contains multiple spectral data points measured through tracking. This data can be read and displayed in 3D. The operation is the same for both constant ratio tracking and constant width tracking trc files. In constant ratio tracking, the X axis of the power spectrum represents the order (ord), while in constant width tracking, it represents the frequency (Hz). This difference becomes clearer when viewed in 3D. Examples of each display are shown here.
Furthermore, in "Tracking Analysis Using Recorded Data," you can perform either constant ratio or constant width tracking analysis using the same data. This method is called offline analysis, and for instructions on how to use it, please refer to the separate PDF document "CF-0722 Offline Tracking Analysis Simple Operation Manual."
■Operating Procedure
- Please load the trc file before proceeding. For information on loading the trc file, please refer to "How to load tracking data (trc file) saved with CF-0722 tracking analysis software and analyze it with different conditions?".
- Click in the following order: [MAIN] → [TRACKING] → [DISPLAY] → [3DON] to turn on (illuminate) the 3D display function for tracking data. The spectrum saved in the trc file will be displayed. If the number of lines set is 30, the amount of spectrum data is large and cannot be displayed on one screen.

Click in the following order: [MAIN] → [TRACKING] → [DISPLAY] → [3D TRACKINGCOND] → [SET AUTO ON]. The number of lines to be set will be displayed starting from trc:1.
Click in the following order: [MAIN] → [TRACKING] → [DISPLAY] → [3D ON]. Turn off the [3D ON] light once, then turn it back on to update the display. The data within the measurement rotation range (here, 1000 r/min to 3000 r/min) will be thinned out and displayed optimally.
■ About 3D operation
To configure settings related to tracking 3D display, you need to turn on the [3D ON] indicator.
Whenever you change the [3D TRACKING COND] setting, be sure to update the [3D ON] display.
When [MAIN] → [TRACKING] → [DISPLAY] → [3D TRACKINGCOND] → [TRACKING CURSOR ON] is OFF (not lit), clicking on the data area will display the vertical and cross-sectional views at both the top and left. The cross-sectional position (cursor marker) can be finely adjusted using the "SEARCH Up/Down/Left/Right" buttons.

Note
- The power spectrum at the marker position is displayed on the upper screen.
- The power spectrum shown on the upper screen can be saved as a TXT file using the SAVE operation during FFT analysis. However, it is not possible to save all spectra as TXT files simultaneously.
When "TRACKINGCURSOR ON" is ON (lit), constant ratio tracking displays a vertical section with the same frequency as the marker point, and constant width tracking displays a vertical section with the same order as the marker point.

Specify the rotation range to display.
You can specify the display rotation range and block (trc) number range. Here, we will show an example of setting the rotation range.
Click in the following order: [MAIN] → [TRACKING] → [DISPLAY] → [3DTRACKING COND] → [SELECT MODE] → [r/min]. Use the [UPPER] key to set the upper limit of the displayed RPMs, and the [LOWER] key to set the lower limit of the displayed RPMs.
Click in the following order to turn it on: [MAIN] → [TRACKING] → [DISPLAY] → [3DTRACKING COND] → [SELECT LINES ON].
Click in the following order: [MAIN] → [TRACKING] → [DISPLAY] → [3D ON]. Turn off [3D ON] and then turn it back on to update the display. The display will show the rotation within the specified range (here, 1500 to 2000 r/min).
Invert the 3D display upside down.
You can reverse the display order of the drawings.
Click in the following order: [MAIN] → [TRACKING] → [DISPLAY] → [3DTRACKING COND] → [MAX r/min ORDER ON] to turn off the [MAX r/min ORDER ON] key. Click in the following order: [MAIN] → [TRACKING] → [DISPLAY] → [3D ON] to turn off and then on the [3D ON] key to update the display.

3D color display and line count change
Previously, operations were performed within "MAIN ⇒ TRACKING ⇒ DISPLAY," but now they are performed within "MAIN ⇒ DISPLAY." No manual refresh operation is required; the display will automatically update simply by configuring the settings. After performing operations within "MAIN ⇒ DISPLAY," you can return to "MAIN ⇒ TRACKING ⇒ DISPLAY."
Click in the following order: [MAIN] → [DISPLAY] → [3D] → [SET 3D COND] → [DRAW], and turn the [DRAW] key ON (light up). This will display the image in color according to the size of the spectrum.

Click in the following order: [MAIN] → [DISPLAY] → [3D] → [SET 3D COND] → [COLOR], and turn the [COLOR] key ON (light up). This will display the color spectrum.

Click in the following order: [MAIN] → [DISPLAY] → [3D] → [SET 3D COND] → [LINENUM] to switch the number of lines drawn in 3D from 10/20/30/50/100/200/400. In the display shown in the image below, LINE NUM = 100 is selected.
Change the color scale
You can change the Y-axis scale by setting it as desired. Click in the following order: [MAIN] → [DISPLAY] → [XY SCALE] → [YAXIS] → [MANUAL] → [UP SCALE/LOW SCALE], and set the upper limit of the Y-axis scale with [UPSCALE] and the lower limit with [LOW SCALE]. In the figure below, "20dB to -60dB" has been changed to "0 to -80dB".
