CF-5200 Frequently Asked Questions

The cause of the difference is

(1) Sound level meter side
Changing the measurement level range between CAL and measurement will result in a dB difference. (This information will not be received by the CF.)

(2) When the frequency range is 20 kHz or lower, sound components above the frequency range are cut off, resulting in a difference due to the amount of the cut.

(3) The difference arises because the time constants of the sound level meter (FAST, SLOW) and the time constant of the CF are different.

The CF time constant corresponds to the measurement time for the data length (2048 points).
