The level trend was displayed based on characteristic A within the function. The overall value of the level trend at a certain point differs from the overall value of the original data, which is the 1/3 OCT data, at that same point.
The A characteristic of FUNCTION is the ability to process and display the raw data spectrum (measurement data) with A characteristic processing.
In this case, the original data displayed in 1/3 OCT has been subjected to A characteristic processing. The measurement data for real-time analysis does not have A characteristic applied.
Level trend data displays this measurement data, so differences due to A characteristic on and off will appear.
To convert to A characteristic measurement data,
(1) Select A WAIGHT in the FILTER of the real-time octave menu.
(2) Select A characteristic on the sound level meter side.
