I will explain the procedure for FFT analysis using external sample signals.
This corresponds to a type of order analysis.

(1) Connect the distance pulse from the data recorder to the external sampling.
(2) Set the CF-3000 to External for the sampling clock in the "Set tab" menu of Tracking.
At the same time, check DirectSample in the "ExtClock tab" menu.
(3) Connect the analysis signal to the input terminal and press the start button.
(4) Then start the data recorder, and data will be
acquired for each rotation pulse, and FFT calculations will be performed based on the set data length (number).

<Example>
If the distance pulse is 1mm/1 pulse and the data length is 2048 points,
T=2048mm
The display of the harmonic analysis shows the component with a period of 2048mm as the 1st spectrum, and the n-th spectrum has a period of 2048/n mm, with the 800th being a component with a period of 2048/800=2.56mm.
In other words, the value displayed at the 800th position represents the amplitude of the analytical signal component occurring every 2.56mm.
