I want to perform an FFT analysis on the data and distance pulses captured by the data recorder.
This is equivalent to a type of degree analysis.
(1) Connect the distance pulse from the data recorder to the external sampling.
(2) In the CF-3000 settings, set the sampling clock to External in the "Set tab" menu under "Trcking".
At the same time, check the DirectSample option in the "ExtClock tab" menu.
(3) Connect the analysis signal to the input terminal and press the start button.
(4) Then start the data recorder and record data for each rotation pulse.
The data is imported and then subjected to an FFT calculation based on the specified data length (number).
<Example>
If the distance pulse is 1 mm/1 pulse, then the data length is 2048 points.
T=2048mm
In the order analysis display, the first spectrum represents a component with a period of 2048 mm, the nth spectrum represents a component with a period of 2048/n mm, and the 800th spectrum represents a component with a period of 2048/800 = 2.56 mm.
In other words, the 800th value displayed represents the amplitude of the analyzed signal component that occurs every 2.56 mm.
