How to process data taken with the CF-3400 in Word or Excel
■When saving as a bitmap

From the "M6 Others" menu, click "Copy Settings".

Select "Bitmap format" and press the OK button.

From the "M6 Others" menu, click "Copy".

Launch "Paintbrush" from your Windows programs.

Select "Edit" from the Paintbrush menu and paste it.

Select "Save As" from the Paintbrush menu and save the file. Choose drive A as the save location and save it to a floppy disk.

Open Word or Excel on your computer. Left-click the mouse where you want to insert the image, select "Insert" → "Picture" → "From File" from the menu, and specify the bitmap image you want to insert. (This method results in a smaller file size than opening Paint on your computer and copying and pasting.)
■When saving as a TXT file

From the "M1 Memory" menu, click "Block Memory".

Change the tab button to "Save to Disk," and in the data display window on the left, click to select the block memory data you want to save.

After configuring the settings as described above and clicking the "Add" button, the data will be saved to the floppy disk (FD).

Open Excel on your computer, select the saved data on the floppy disk, and the data will be entered into the cells. This data will then be displayed as a graph.
■When saving in "dat" format and creating a graph using a graph interface

Following the procedure described above for "Saving as TXT," click "Block Memory" from the "M1 Memory" menu, and in the "Disk Save" tab, set the data save format to "dat." and save it to the floppy disk.

Download and install the free software "Graph Interface" from our website. You can access the Graph Interface page here. After registering by clicking the "User Registration" button under the sample program name "Graph Interface" (labeled "4. For CF/DS Series FFT Analyzers"), the download page will open. The installation procedure and operation instructions for this software are explained in the PDF file that appears when you click the "PDF" button.

The graph interface is launched, the saved data is converted for use with Excel macros, and then the Excel macro is opened to display the graph.

Specify the file to import using the "Add" button, and then press the "Start Conversion" button. |
Once the conversion is complete, you will see a message like this. Next, press the "Run Excel" button. |

On the "Welcome to ONO SOKKI GraphInterface!" screen, pressing the "Start Execution" button will bring up a screen where you can specify the input file. Specify the file you converted earlier and start creating the graph. |
