Connecting GS/BS series sensors to the RV-3150 reversible counter.
This document describes the wiring and setup procedures for the RV-3150 when connecting a GS/BS series sensor to an RV-3150 reversible counter. Please have your RV-3150 instruction manual handy.
1. Wiring Diagram

2. Sensor input channel setting (default: 0 P-IN)
Since the GS/BS series signals are square wave (voltage) output signals, set the sensor input channel setting in the RV-3150's "Parameter Setting Function" as follows:

3. Sensor type setting (default: 0 DUAL)
- The GS/BS series signals are two-phase square wave (voltage) output signals, so set the sensor type setting in the "Parameter Setting Function" of the RV-3150 as follows.

4. Multiplier setting (default: 2 * 4)
- When connecting to the GS/BS series, set the multiplier setting in the "Parameter Setting Function" of the RV-3150 to 4x as shown below.

5. Counting method setting (default: 0 (+))
- To define a positive (+) count as when the spindle of the GS/BS series is pushed in, set the counting direction setting in the "Parameter Setting Function" of the RV-3150 as follows:

6. Decimal point position setting (default: 0 OFF)
- When connecting to the GS/BS series, set the decimal point position in the "Parameter Setting Function" of the RV-3150 as follows:

7. Analog output full-scale setting (default FS → 999999)
- When connecting to the GS/BS series, set the count value corresponding to the full-scale value (FS value: 10 V) of the analog voltage output in the "Parameter Setting Function" of the RV-3150.

8. calibration signal output settings
- When calibration the output voltage, set it as follows. After calibration is complete, be sure to return it to 0: ZERO.
