Clamp-type torque meter
WEB-CLAMPTORQ
By simply clamping it, you can easily measure the torque of a rotating body.
In vehicle development, driving stability tests are often conducted on actual vehicles, and bench replacement presents a challenge. To perform bench replacement, torque measurement at the drive shaft position is necessary. Clamp-type torque meters can measure the torque of a rotating drive shaft. Furthermore, in electric vehicles such as EVs and HEVs, regenerative braking control design and design verification are necessary. By measuring the torque at the drive shaft position, excluding the mechanical brake, it becomes possible to design and evaluate energy management. Conventional methods for measuring torque at the drive shaft position generally required machining of the shaft or lacked data reproducibility due to the removal and reattachment of the detector. Clamp-type torque meters have an easy-to-install structure and can measure data with high accuracy and reproducibility even when repeatedly installed.
