Clamp-type torque meter

By simply clamping it, you can easily measure the torque of a rotating body.

In vehicle development, driving stability tests are often conducted using actual vehicles, and bench replacement presents a challenge. To perform bench replacement, torque measurement at the drive shaft position is necessary. Clamp-type torque meters can measure the torque of a rotating drive shaft.

Furthermore, electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) require regenerative braking control design and design verification. Measuring the torque at the drive shaft position, excluding the mechanical brakes, enables the design and evaluation of energy management.

Conventional methods for measuring torque at the drive shaft position typically required modifications to the shaft or lacked data reproducibility due to the removal and reinstallation of the detector.

Clamp-type torque meters have an easy-to-install design and allow for high-precision, reproducible data measurement even after repeated installation.
