To measure acoustics, such as understanding operational sounds during product development and conducting abnormal noise inspections, it starts with creating an environment that is not affected by disturbances. While it is easy to focus on blocking sounds other than the target object (sound insulation performance) to build a quiet environment, when using a soundproof box, it is also necessary to pay attention to reducing the impact of reflected sounds generated inside the box (sound absorption performance), not just sound insulation performance. In addition to these, by considering the frequency characteristics of the sound radiated from the target object and the vibrations of the installation location that affect background noise, it is possible to create an environment where measurements can be conducted with confidence. Both sound insulation performance and sound absorption performance have a significant impact on measurement values, which is why we have prepared two types of soundproof boxes for each.
