ExFlower Bench Testing Support Application
WEB-EXFLOWER

The flowchart method easily automates complex tests, improving test efficiency.

In the automotive development field, testing is becoming increasingly complex, while there is a demand for increased development efficiency. ExFlower is a bench testing support application that uses a flowchart method to efficiently perform complex tests. It can automate testing processes that previously could only be performed by human judgment, contributing to reduced workload and prevention of human error, and enabling easy and efficient testing.

Features

Create the details of the exam.

  • Flowcharts allow for flexible test customization.

  • Automation of various tests and control of various external devices are possible.

  • Create the details of the exam.

Create and execute the testing process.

  • By selecting any subflow, you can freely customize the test.

  • Abrupt flow allows for temporary suspension of processing in case of abnormalities.

  • Create and execute the testing process.

Create an operation for when an anomaly occurs.

  • Abnormal handling is possible via interrupt flow.

  • Create an operation for when an anomaly occurs.
  • Features
  • It employs a flowchart-based approach that allows for easy and flexible customization of the automation of various tests.

  • The SubFlow Editor (test planning) and MainFlow Editor (test execution) are two independent applications, clearly defining the division of labor.

  • Abrupt flow allows for temporary suspension of processing in case of abnormalities.

  • The debug function allows you to check the flow created before the actual test.

  • Autonomous driving is possible in conjunction with various external devices.

Ver2.7 New features

  • Multiple driving instructions can be issued simultaneously, improving the synchronization of instructions.

  • Enhanced search and debugging functions, and increased efficiency in verification work.

  • Enhanced library functionality

New features

Version 2.7 New Features

1. Multiple step instructions

This feature improves the real-time nature of instructions, enabling transient test instructions and automating drivability and shift shock tests.

  • Conventional

Previously, the only method was to issue instructions from ExFlower each time.
Instructions may be delayed depending on the PC application's operating status and network conditions, making it impossible to perform time-sensitive driving instructions during transitional periods.

  • Multiple step instructions

Added a method to issue multiple step instructions at once.
By issuing instructions all at once, it becomes possible to give instructions more accurately and on time than before.

2. Enhanced variable search and debugging features.

Improvement of variable search function

We've made it easier to see whether the variables searched in the created flow exist and where they are located.

Debugging function improvements

By making the debugging time variable, the debugging time can be shortened.

3. Enhance library functionality

We've added a new type to the library function, making it even easier to reuse test flows you've created and deploy them to other benchmarks.
Furthermore, the IronPython library can now be integrated*, enabling collaboration and automation of operations that go beyond the scope of a single application.

New Library Parts
New Library Parts

By loading the created library flow, it can be used across various bench tests.

Integration with the IronPython library

By integrating the IronPython library*, highly flexible external controls, such as playback of Wave files, are possible.

* Libraries confirmed to work: wave, winsound, subprocess, os

NV testing using ExFlower

ExFlower enables easy system integration between Automatic Measurement Control System FAMS and Sound and Vibration Analysis System O-Solution. While the operation of the test specimen is controlled by commands from ExFlower, noise and vibration measurements are automated, reducing the effort required to operate each piece of equipment.
