Quality Initiatives
Our Quality Assurance Block's "Certification and Regulations Group" is responsible for regulations concerning exhaust emissions and fuel efficiency related to automobiles and other vehicles. Specifically, they review and interpret the latest regulations from around the world, create regulatory information related to our products such as regulatory requirement lists and test flows, and distribute this regulatory baseline to relevant departments.
Our group aims to improve quality and work efficiency by deepening our understanding of regulations through activities such as verifying the compliance of contracted projects related to laws and regulations, conducting briefings on the latest regulations, and providing training through legal study sessions. Group Manager Yamaguchi explains:
"Before our group was established in 2021, we conducted legal research at the request of our clients. Since its establishment, however, we have established a system to constantly monitor information on legal regulations in each country and are working to proactively manage legal revisions."
This has enabled us to systematically implement compliance with regulations for our products and to provide accurate proposals to our customers.
We believe that a crucial role of our group is to ensure that our products reliably comply with relevant laws and regulations, and to promote proposal activities that contribute to solving our customers' challenges."

The Quality Control Group, part of our Quality Assurance Block, works in conjunction with the manufacturing department to enhance the quality of our products, operating daily with the motto of "no defective products, no defective products, and no defective products shipped." We ensure quality at every stage, including evaluation during mass production prototypes, acceptance inspection of parts, and verification of inspection data in the manufacturing process. In addition, our other duties include investigating market defects, preventing recurrence, corrective actions for non-conforming parts, and software testing.
Furthermore, our group has been actively promoting JCSS (Japan Calibration Service System) calibration from an early stage. This ensures metrological traceability in accordance with the Measurement Law and guarantees international consistency of measurement results of measuring instruments. Our company was first certified by IAJapan (National Institute of Technology and Evaluation Accreditation Center) in 2005 as a JCSS calibration provider compliant with international MRA in the "Acoustics and Ultrasound" category. Subsequently, we added seven more categories: "Vibration Acceleration" in 2012, "Torque" in 2013, "Flow Rate and Velocity" in 2014, "Electricity (DC and Low Frequency)" in 2015, "Speed" in 2019, and "Time, Frequency, and Rotational Speed" in 2022, giving us one of the highest numbers of certifications among companies excluding specialized calibration institutions.
