Establishment of a 'Social Collaboration Course' with the University of Tokyo.

Our company is currently engaged in a collaboration with the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at the University of Tokyo on a 'Social Collaboration Course on Vibration Measurement and Control of Electric Vehicles.' A social collaboration course is established within educational and research institutions, such as faculties and graduate schools, to conduct joint research on common societal issues with high public relevance, utilizing expenses received from external organizations, including private entities.

This course is established at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, University of Tokyo, and is scheduled to be in place until March 31, 2026.

In this course, Professor Hiroshi Fujimoto and two other faculty members, along with several researchers and graduate students, are conducting research and development aimed at realizing a clean and comfortable electric vehicle society.

Cooperation in Japan's first demonstration experiment for in-motion power supply.

Since 2018, a joint research group consisting of the University of Tokyo, Bridgestone Corporation, NSK Ltd., ROHM Co., Ltd., Toyo Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd., DENSO Corporation, Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., SWCC Co., Ltd., Car Mate Co., Ltd., and the Miyagi Laboratory at Chiba University (hereinafter referred to as the research group) has been conducting research on a power supply system while driving.

On October 3, 2023, the first demonstration experiment of "charging while driving on public roads" in Japan was launched in Kashiwa-no-ha Smart City. This experiment was conducted as part of the "development of charging technology for electric vehicles while driving" in collaboration with the University of Tokyo, Kashiwa City, and other relevant organizations under the Kashiwa ITS Promotion Council framework.

In this initiative, our company provides the RC-S actual vehicle Transient Bench, simulating slopes and driving spaces. We contribute to research aimed at optimizing driving routes using power supply during operation.
