Vibration Comparator Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-1395

Comparable output and terminal block (reset, gate input)

For information on the comparison function, please refer to "Measurement Modes and Comparison Function," and for setting instructions, please refer to the "Quick Operation Manual."

To connect to external devices such as a sequencer and control the judgment timing, use AUTO mode. This is controlled using reset and gate signals. Please refer to the instruction manual for details.

■ Reset signal, gate signal input

Input signalRear terminal block No.specificationOperation during AUTO mode
ResetNo. 7 Reset signal
No. 9 COM
The device resets when the terminals are short-circuited or when a low-level signal is input.

In the case of voltage signal input
A minimum bandwidth of 0.1 ms is required for the LOW level.

Hi: 4.2V or more
LOW: 0.8V or less
(1) Enter the reset command with the gate OFF (comparison stop).

(2) Gate ON (Comparison begins)

(3) Read the judgment output with the gate OFF.

(4) Return to (1) and proceed to the next measurement.
