Setup Procedure Overview

This explains the setup procedure for first-time users.
While you can also access this function using the function buttons on the front panel, I will explain the procedure for setting it through the menu.

● Outline of the setup procedure

Preparation of equipment
Connect Accelerometer and various signal lines to the rear terminals. The VC-2100 does not have a power switch. Please note that the power will be turned on as soon as the power is connected.

Sensor sensitivity settings
Set the sensor sensitivity to, for example, 5.00mV/ms^-2, using the test sheet included with Accelerometer.

Input range setting
Set the measurement mode to PEAK or PEAK HOLD, and adjust the bar indicator so that it does not go OVER, but stays within a range of approximately 50-60%.

Setting the frequency band
Set the bandpass frequency so that the necessary signal can be detected.

Measuring vibrations
To make it easier to read the vibration values, set the measurement mode.

Comparator level setting
The appropriate judgment level is set based on the measured vibration value.
