In its standard configuration, the LV-1700 series detects vibration velocity (m/s). Therefore, it is designed to output only the AC component as an analog voltage signal using a high-pass filter (HPF). However, this does not allow for DC detection, so when measuring the speed of a trapezoidal control stage, the output drops once the stage speed becomes constant.
By implementing DC compatibility, it becomes possible to observe the correct velocity waveform even when the stage speed is constant.
