TS-2700 Voltage Output

This section explains the analog output. Please refer to the "Setting Instructions" for parameter settings.

1. Torque voltage output

The torque is output as an analog voltage from the TRQ OUT connector on the rear panel. Normally, the output voltage will be ±10 V when the torque sensor's capacity value is set in "Setting Input".

The default time constant is set to 500 ms. You can change it to 63 ms by switching the analog output time constant setting in the "Input Setting Value" section.

How calibration the torque voltage output

We will be using a digital voltmeter (hereinafter abbreviated as "digital voltmeter") to monitor its display, so please have a digital voltmeter ready.

  1. Connect the TRQ OUT connector on the rear panel to the digital voltmeter.
  2. Press and hold the MEAS/CAL switch for a few seconds until the CALLED lights up. This indicates the zero adjustment of the torque voltage output.
    • At this time, it outputs a voltage of zero value.
  3. The output voltage is measured using a digital voltmeter, and that value is directly set in volts on the TS-2700 to perform zero adjustment.
    Setting range: 0 to ±0.999
    - The LEDs in the input fields blink.
    - Use the right arrow key to move the input position (digit).
    - Use the up arrow key to change the value. The "-" symbol is displayed using the MENU key.
  4. Pressing the ENTER key confirms the setting and displays the full voltage adjustment.
    • At this time, the full-scale voltage is output.
  5. By measuring the output voltage with a digital voltmeter and setting that value directly in volts on the TS-2700, you can adjust it to full voltage.
    Setting range: 9,000 to 10,999
    - The LEDs in the input fields blink.
    - Use the right arrow key to move the input position (digit).
    - Use the up arrow key to change the value
    - The 4th and 5th digits only display either 9 or 10. Pressing the up arrow key on the 4th digit alternates between 9 and 10.
  6. Press the ENTER key to confirm.
  7. Press the MEAS/CAL switch to illuminate the MEAS LED.
  8. Measurement will now begin.

2. Voltage output of rotation

The REV OUT connector on the rear panel provides an analog voltage output for rotation. A value of 10V is output for each rotation capacity value set in "Setting Input".

<Please note>

The input frequency accuracy is guaranteed from 10 Hz upwards. The rotational speed depends on the number of rotational signal pulses and the input frequency. For example, if the rotational signal pulse is 60 P/R and the input frequency is 10 Hz, the rotational speed will be 10 r/min, and if it is 1 Hz, it will be 1 r/min.

  2. Press and hold the MEAS/CAL switch for a few seconds to illuminate the CAL LED.
  3. Pressing the ENTER key twice will display the zero adjustment indicator for the rotation voltage output.
    • At this time, it outputs a voltage of zero value.
  4. The output voltage is measured using a digital voltmeter, and that value is directly set in volts on the TS-2700 to perform zero adjustment.
    Setting range: 0 to ±0.999
    - The LEDs in the input fields blink.
    - Use the right arrow key to move the input position (digit).
    - Use the up arrow key to change the value. The "-" symbol is displayed using the MENU key.
  5. Pressing the ENTER key confirms the setting and displays the full voltage adjustment.
