How to check the zero correction value set on the TS-2700
■Operating Procedure

Press the "LOCK" key to illuminate the key lamp. Then, press the "TRQ ZERO" key for 2-3 seconds. The currently set zero correction value will be displayed in the torque display window for a few seconds, and then it will return to the torque display.

<Please note>
When the "LOCK" key light is on, you cannot access various settings. To deactivate it, press the "LOCK" key again to turn off the light.

To check the zero correction value in the opposite direction, press the "LOCK" key to turn off the key lamp, then press the "CW/CCW" key for 2-3 seconds. Confirm that the CW LED or CCW LED switches to illuminated. Then, press the "LOCK" key again to turn it back on, and press the "TRQ ZERO" key for 2-3 seconds to check the zero correction value in the switched direction on the torque display.
[For use in checking for malfunctions]
One way to determine if the torque sensor is malfunctioning is to check if the zero correction value has changed significantly from the factory value. If the zero correction value set after performing the zero correction operation differs by more than ±100 from the factory zero correction value of the torque sensor (listed in the test report included with the shipment),

The torque sensor was not powered on, or zero correction was performed in that state.

Zero correction was performed with a load applied to the torque sensor.

The rotation direction of the axis being tested does not match the CW/CCW setting.

The CW/CCW settings do not match between the detector and the TS-2700 (the CW/CCW key on the TS-2700 switches between the stored CW/CCW zero correction values).

Torque sensor failure
These are possible causes. If none of the above 1 to 4 apply, the detector needs to be calibration and detailed checks such as linearity are required.
