How to set the voltage output of the TS-2700 Torque to 0V
When a new unit is shipped, the analog output's zero and full-scale adjustments are already completed, so no further adjustments are necessary. When first connected to a torque sensor, the analog torque output will not be 0 V. This is because the menu settings and zero correction operation (referred to as initial matching settings) for the sensor have not yet been performed.
Initial matching settings refer to setting the detector-specific values such as FACTOR in the "MENU" and then performing a zero correction operation. Performing initial matching settings will result in the torque display being zero and the analog output being 0 V. Please note that the zero correction operation is different from zero adjustment of the analog output.

■ Precautions during initialization
There are two ways to reset the menu. Please note that the contents of the reset differ depending on the method used.
(Method 1) Press and hold the "ENTER" and "LOCK" keys simultaneously while turning the "POWER" switch ON.
This resets all MENU settings to their factory defaults, except for the analog output adjustment. (The previously adjusted analog output settings will be retained.)
(Method 2) Press and hold the "ENTER" and "MEAS/CAL" keys simultaneously while turning the "POWER" switch ON.
All settings in the MENU, including analog output adjustments, will be reset to their default values. You must also perform a "zero adjustment" of the analog torque output.
■ How to "zero-adjust" the analog output of torque
This section explains how to perform zero adjustment (0V) and full adjustment (10V) of the analog torque output after completely initializing the TS-2700 using Method 2. Afterward, initial matching settings are performed in combination with the torque sensor, and the process is completed by reconfirming the 0V setting. Note that zero adjustment is performed while reading the analog torque output voltage with a digital voltmeter.

Turn off the power to the torque sensor.

Press and hold the "ENTER" and "MEAS/CAL" keys simultaneously while turning on the "POWER" switch. The "MENU" settings and zero adjustment values will start up with the factory default settings.

Press the "MEAS/CAL" key. The torque analog output zero adjustment display will appear as shown in the diagram below. Read the analog output voltage. For example, if the value is -17 mV, set the zero adjustment value to -0017. Fine-tune the value until it becomes 0 V while reading the analog output voltage.

- Set the adjustment value in the lower row so that the voltage becomes 0 V when "CHT 0" is selected.
Adjustment value: 0017 (17mV). To set to "-", press the "MENU" key.

Set the value using this method. -
Press the "ENTER" key. The setting will be confirmed, and the display will switch to the full-scale voltage adjustment display.

Perform a full-scale adjustment. Read the analog output voltage. For example, if the output voltage is 10.020 V, set the adjustment value to "10020". Fine-tune the value while reading the analog output voltage until it reaches 10 V.

- Set the adjustment value in the lower row so that the voltage becomes 10 V when "CHT F" is selected.
Adjustment value: 10020 (10.020 V)

Set the value using this method.
The fourth and fifth digits can only display 9 or 10. -
Press the "ENTER" key to confirm the settings.

Press the "MEAS/CAL" key. The display will return to torque (measurement).

We will now perform the initial matching setup.
Connect the torque sensor and perform the necessary settings and zero correction operations in the "MENU" according to the torque sensor. When there is no load during measurement, confirm that the analog output voltage of the torque is 0V.
