TS-2600 Voltage Output

This section explains the analog output. Please refer to the "Setting Instructions" for parameter settings.

1. Torque voltage output

The torque is output as an analog voltage via the TRQ OUT connector on the rear panel. Regardless of the torque sensor's RANGE setting, the output voltage during full-scale measurement will be ±10 V.

Turning parameter settings 1-2 in the internal settings section ON will result in 63 ms.
The default setting at shipment is OFF: 500 ms.

How calibration the torque voltage output

We will be using a digital voltmeter (hereinafter abbreviated as "digital voltmeter") to monitor its display, so please have a digital voltmeter ready.

  • Connect the TRQ OUT connector on the rear panel to the digital voltmeter.
  • Switch the MEAS/CAL switch to CAL. At this time, adjust the potentiometer on the ANALOG ADJ TRQ ZERO so that the digital volt display shows 0 V.
  • Press the TRQ ZERO switch until the LED lights up. At this time, the full scale value will be output, so adjust the potentiometer on the ANALOG ADJ TRQ FULL so that the digital volt display shows 10V. The LED will turn off immediately after lighting up.
    *By pressing the TRQ ZERO switch until the LED lights up, you can cycle between ZERO and FULL.
  • Switch the MEAS/CAL switch to MEAS.
  • Measurement will now begin.

2. Voltage output of rotation

Please note that even within the input frequency range, the output will only go up to 10 V = 9999 r/min (9999 × 10 r/min). The lower frequency limit, when converted to rotational speed, corresponds to 10 r/min at 60 P/R, 5 r/min at 120 P/R, approximately 3.3 r/min at 180 P/R, 2.5 r/min at 240 P/R, 2 r/min at 300 P/R, and approximately 1.8 r/min at 360 P/R.

The rotational speed is output as an analog voltage from the REV OUT connector on the rear panel. Set the P/R switch in the internal settings to match the number of teeth on the rotation detection gear. When the rotation count reaches 9999, 10V is output.

How to calibration the voltage output of a rotational motor.

  • Connect the REV OUT connector on the rear panel to the digital voltmeter.
  • Switch the MEAS/CAL switch to CAL. At this time, adjust the potentiometer on the ANALOG ADJ REV ZERO so that the digital volt display shows 0 V.
  • Press the TRQ ZERO switch until the LED lights up. At this point, the full scale value will be output, so adjust the potentiometer on the ANALOG ADJ REV FULL so that the digital volt display shows 10V.
    *By pressing the TRQ ZERO switch until the LED lights up, you can cycle between ZERO and FULL.
  • Switch the MEAS/CAL switch to MEAS.
  • Measurement will now begin.
