Torque Meter Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-1280

There's a squeaking sound coming from the torque sensor unit, but is this affecting the measurement?

It appears to be originating from the belt inside the torque detector.
Set the motor rotation direction switch on the main unit to the neutral position and stop the motor. If the sound disappears, it is likely the sound of the belt.
The solution is to shut down the entire system, stop the torque sensor motor, remove the main cover, and apply a small amount of grease to the belt.
