Torque Meter Frequently Asked Questions

The axis of the torque detector is yellow because it is coated with an anti-rust material (yellow). The SS series, DD series, and DSTP series are shipped with this anti-rust material (yellow) applied. The anti-rust material (yellow) can be removed with thinner. If you are attaching a coupling, please remove the anti-rust material (yellow) before installation.

Additionally, small-capacity detectors (SS series, MD series, MT series) are shipped with anti-rust oil (colorless spray) applied and covered with vinyl tubes. Please lightly wipe with a cloth and attach the coupling. Furthermore, either type of rust prevention treatment has been applied to the MT series frames.
