Torque Meter Frequently Asked Questions

The shaft of the torque detector is yellow because it is coated with rust prevention material. The SS series, DD series, and DSTP series are shipped with this rust prevention material applied. The MD series is not coated with rust prevention material, but when it is incorporated into the MT series, the application of rust prevention material may vary depending on the situation, such as when shipped with a coupling.

Basically, please check the axis of the torque detector. If it is yellow, please understand that an anti-rust material has been applied. The anti-rust material can be removed with thinner. If you are attaching a coupling, please remove the anti-rust material before installation.
