Torque Meter Frequently Asked Questions
Question number FAQ-1255
Why is there a difference in accuracy between the electromagnetic gear phase difference method and the electromagnetic induction phase difference method (TH series)?
In electromagnetic induction phase difference type sensors, correction is performed sequentially regardless of the counter, so the accuracy differs from that of electromagnetic gear phase difference type sensors.
| Electromagnetic gear phase difference method | Electromagnetic induction phase difference method | |
|---|---|---|
| Applicable models | SS / MD / DD / EZ / DSTP series | TH Series |
| accuracy | ±0.2% / Full scale | ±0.1% / Full scale |

● The TS-3200A torque calculation display unit has an optional correction function, and correction can be performed even using the electromagnetic gear phase difference method by inputting a correction value.
