Sound level meter - Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-1240

When you save data with the LA-7000 series, a file named Axxx is created inside the SD card, and the number in "xxx" increases with each subsequent save. It seems to be limited to three digits, but is it not possible to save more than 999 data items?

With the LA-7000 series sound level meter, saved data files are automatically created and named.

Example SNGL-AUTO_-A072-200707131140.csv

If you go from A001 to A999, the next data file will be B001.

If you go through B..., C..., up to Z999, you will return to A001 again.

(Multiple files with "A001" in their name may be created, but since the timestamps after "Axxx" are different, they will be recognized as different filenames and will coexist.)
