Sound level meter - Frequently Asked Questions
Question number FAQ-1236
What is the difference between the AC and AC/DC outputs of the LA-7000 series?
| AC: | The output will be a frequency-weighted signal as set. Due to digital processing such as frequency weighting filters (AD conversion - processing - DA conversion), the actual sound is delayed by approximately 4.6 ms. |
| AC/DC: | |
| AC-Z | Regardless of the set frequency weighting characteristics, the output signal will be Z-weighted. |
| DC | A voltage corresponding to the sound pressure level (dB value) is output. |
| Through | This is a signal that has not undergone frequency-weighted filtering. Because it is unfiltered, there is no delay. |
