Sound level meter - Frequently Asked Questions
Question number FAQ-1231
What is the difference between the "REC" and "AT/REC" memory modes, which can be selected as options for real-time sound recording on the LA-3000 series?
① Memory mode "RECORD (REC)"
This mode
• Includes the LA-0354 real sound recording option.
- Operate Mode is set to "Single" or "Dual"
This can be selected depending on the situation.
When memory is executed in this state, the actual sound data, "WAV data," and the instantaneous sound pressure level at 1-second intervals with a time weight of 10 ms and a frequency weight of Z are created in "CSV data" format. This "CSV data" is used as the playback point when playing back the recorded actual sound data on the "LA-3000 series."
① ② Memory mode "AT/REC"
This mode
• Includes the LA-0354 real sound recording option.
- Operate Mode is set to "Single" or "Dual"
This can be selected depending on the situation.
In this state, when you run the memory, in addition to the actual sound data and instantaneous sound pressure level mentioned in ①, various calculated values of the sound pressure level under the conditions selected in Operate Mode will be created in "CSV data" format.
Note: When saving data in "AT/REC" mode, if you interrupt the measurement before the set measurement time has elapsed, the actual sound data and instantaneous sound pressure level data up to the point of interruption will be saved, but please note that various calculated values will not be saved.
