If you set the measurement start mode to MANUAL (the time when you click the "START" button) instead of TIMER (time), and you start the calculation measurement by clicking the "START" button, then to interrupt the measurement midway, perform the following steps.

• Click the "PAUSE" button to display the "pause mark".
  
• Click the "MENU" button to open the menu screen.
  


• Click the "MENU" button again to return to the measurement screen. The "pause" and "STB" indicators will turn off.
  

Alternatively, you can use the "CAL" button instead of the "MENU" button.
