sound level meter Frequently Asked Questions

Question number FAQ-1167

Charging function of the built-in battery

The sound level meter is equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery for memory backup and clock operation, allowing it to retain stored data for about 1.5 months from a full charge and keep the clock running.

  • The internal battery automatically charges from either batteries or an AC adapter when the sound level meter is powered on. At this time, it will be fully charged in about 24 hours from the power on.
  • Immediately after purchase, the built-in battery may be fully discharged or only minimally charged. It is recommended to use it after fully charging.
  • The internal battery is designed to withstand approximately 1000 cycles of full charge and complete discharge. However, it is recommended to print out important data or transfer it to a personal computer, etc., as a precaution in case of emergencies.

Notice

  • Including the built-in batteries, the impact of results caused by defects in the sound level meter will be limited to replacement with a non-defective item. We will not be responsible for any data loss due to missing internal batteries. Thank you for your understanding.
  • If the backup battery has depleted during storage, the memory data and calendar display will become abnormal. In this case, please perform a memory clear and reset the calendar to restore the state.
