Sound level meter - Frequently Asked Questions

■ Power on

Sliding the power switch (POWER) on the side upwards (|) turns the power ON, and sliding it downwards (○) turns the power OFF.

■ Built-in battery charging function

The sound level meter has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery for memory backup and clocking, which can retain stored data and operate the clock for approximately 1.5 months on a full charge.

• The built-in battery is automatically charged from either dry cell batteries or the AC adapter when the sound level meter is turned on. It takes approximately 24 hours to fully charge.
• Immediately after purchase, the built-in battery may be completely discharged or only minimally charged. We recommend fully charging it before use.
• The built-in battery is designed to withstand approximately 1000 full-charge and complete-discharge cycles. However, as a precaution, we recommend printing out important data or transferring it to a personal computer.

• Our warranty is limited to replacing any defective sound level meter, including the built-in battery, with a non-defective unit. We are not responsible for any data loss due to a faulty built-in battery. Thank you for your understanding.
• If the backup battery is depleted during storage, the memory data and calendar display will be abnormal. In this case, please clear the memory and reset the calendar to restore functionality.
