■ Block memory operations

Store data in block memory

Block memory is the memory used during timer measurements. Each time a timer measurement is completed, the measurement data is automatically stored in block memory. Immediately after clearing block memory, data is always stored starting from address 0001 in block B0 (it is not possible to specify an arbitrary block).
If data has been stored at all addresses in block B0 and measurement is still continuing, the system will move to block B1, address 0001, and data will continue to be stored there.
When a new timer measurement is started, data is stored starting from address 0001 of the next block memory where data was stored at the end of the previous timer measurement. If the measurement is repeated indefinitely, data will be stored up to block B9, address 1440, and only the timer measurement will continue from there.

【Note】

• If data was stored up to block B9 in the previous timer measurement, the timer measurement will only be performed, and the measured data will not be stored, unless the already stored block memory data is erased. Also, "- - --" will be displayed at the addresses of blocks where no data is stored.
• For details on timer measurements, please refer to Chapter 4, "Measurement Data," mentioned above.

Recall of block memory data

The procedure for recalling data stored in block memory is as follows:

1. Complete the data storage.
   For further details, please refer to "3.1 Data Store to Block Memory" mentioned earlier in this chapter.
   
2. Switch to timer mode.
   After switching the panel switch mode to secondary, press the [Timer] panel switch to switch to timer mode.
   When you switch timer measurement to ON, the Timer measurement ON mark (Timer) will be displayed, and the memory address will switch from manual memory to block memory.
3. Set the block number to be recalled. After switching the panel switch mode to secondary, press the panel switch [Memory (▲・▼)] to switch the block number (B0~).
   Addresses of blocks where no data is stored will display "- - - -", while addresses where data is already stored will display the address number.
4. We will carry out a recall.
   With the panel switch mode set to secondary, press the [Recall] button on the panel switch.
   The data stored at address 0001 of the specified block will be recalled. A recall mark will be displayed during the recall process. At this time, you can switch the address number by pressing the panel switch [Memory (▲・▼)].

Clearing block memory data

All data stored in block memory can be cleared (deleted) at once by pressing the panel switch [STORE (BMCLEAR)] while turning on the power.

【Note】

• Clearing the data will take approximately 3 seconds. The sound level meter will restart once the clearing is complete.
• Stored data cannot be cleared on an individual address basis. All data will be cleared at once.
• Before clearing your store data, please print out or save any necessary data by other means.
