Data Memory Overview
There are two types of data memory: manual memory and block memory. Each memory location can store a set of simultaneously measured data (LA-1240/1250/1350: Leq/LE/LMAX/LX values, LA-4350: Leq/LE/LMAX/LPK/LX) as a single unit.
【Note】
- If the internal battery is completely discharged and the voltage is low, data cannot be stored correctly. Please refer to "Chapter 2: Preparing the Sound Level Meter for Measurement / 3.1 Powering On" and charge the internal battery before use.
- If the backup battery is depleted during storage, the memory data and calendar display will be abnormal. In this case, please clear the memory and reset the calendar to restore the device to its original state.
Manual Memory Overview
Manual memory is included in the LA-1240/1250/1350/4350 models. In the LA-1250/1350/4350 models, when the timer measurement is OFF, pressing the [STORE] panel switch will store data to a specified address. There are up to 300 addresses, allowing you to store up to 300 sets of data. For details, please refer to "2. Manual Memory Function" later in this chapter.
Overview of block memory
Block memory is included in the LA-1250/1350/4350 models. Block memory is the memory used during timer measurement.
Each time a timer-controlled measurement is completed, the measurement data is automatically stored in block memory. There are 10 blocks, and each block has 1440 addresses. The total number of addresses is 14400, allowing for the storage of up to 14400 sets of consecutive measurement data. Manual memory and block memory are switched by pressing the panel switch [TIMER]. When timer measurement is OFF, manual memory is selected; when timer measurement is ON, block memory is selected. For details, please refer to "3. Block Memory Operation" later in this chapter.
