sound level meter Frequently Asked Questions

Please purchase something new.

Ono Sokki's sound level meter comes standard with windshields of varying sizes depending on the model of the sound level meter.
(Either 70mm in diameter or 90mm in diameter)

The windscreen reduces wind noise from the microphone when using a sound level meter outdoors, while having a special structure (continuous foam structure) that does not interfere with sound measurement.
If you use something different from the genuine product or if you make your own and attach it, it will affect the characteristics of the sound level meter.

Please be sure to use genuine manufacturer products. When a windscreen is needed, please specify by size (diameter) or by the model name of the sound level meter (for LA-×××× windscreen).
