DR-7100 Frequently Asked Questions

If you set a recording time that results in a data size exceeding 2GB,

The system will close the recording file after 2GB, open a new recording file, and record the remaining data.

This process will repeat until the SD card runs out of space.

When recording continuously, if the SD card runs out of space, an error message "SD-CARD FULL" will be displayed and the measurement will stop.

In this case, the final recording file will contain data up to just before the measurement is stopped, and then the file will be closed.

<Caution>

Because closing the currently recording file and opening a new file takes time, the last data in the previous file and the first data in the next file will not be consecutive.

Typically, a data loss of about 10 seconds occurs.
The above describes the file creation process when using the DR-7100 alone. When using two DR-7100s connected together with the sync function, recording will stop when the file size reaches 2 GB.
