DR-7100 Frequently Asked Questions

When setting a recording time that exceeds a data capacity of 2GB,

Close the recording file at 2GB, open a new recording file, and record the remaining data.

This will be repeated until the free space on the SD card runs out.

When recording continuously, if the SD card runs out of free space, an error message will display "SD-CARD FULL" and stop the measurement.

In this case, the last recorded file captures data just before the measurement stops and then closes the file.

Caution

Due to the time it takes to close the recording file and open a new one, the last data of the previous file and the first data of the next file will not be continuous.

Typically, a data loss of about 10 seconds occurs.
The above is the file creation operation when using the DR-7100 alone. When using the sync function and connecting two DR-7100 units, recording will stop when the file size reaches 2 GB.
