Even when I press the REC button to try to record data, it displays '0 FILES AVAILABLE' and I cannot operate it. Please tell me how to resolve this.
When you perform the recording operation on the DR-7100, a folder named "DR7100" is automatically created in the SD card.
Additionally, a folder named "DATA" is created below, and data files are saved within this folder.
The number of files in the "DATA" folder is limited to 2,800, and even if there is space available on the SD card, no more files can be created beyond this limit. When the number of files reaches the limit, pressing the "REC" button will display "0 FILES AVAILABLE" on the DR-7100 screen, and recording operations will not be possible.
resolution method
Open the SD card on your PC and change the folder name 'DR7100'.
Open the SD card on your PC and rename the folder named 'DATA' inside 'DR7100'.
Transfer the data in the 'DATA' folder on the SD card to a PC or delete it to reduce the number of data items to below 2,800.
