XN-8000 Frequently Asked Questions
Question number FAQ-1112
In offline analysis, when averaging (power spectrum addition averaging), the amplitude of the data does not change much, but the values start small and gradually become larger.
The phenomenon occurs because, in the first instance of offline analysis, the average starts from a state where the data is almost '0' (considered zero due to the absence of past data).
Response Method
To adjust the settings, please turn ON "Start Overlap 0%" found under [Menu] → [Analysis (S)] → [Analysis Conditions] → [Measurement]. This will ensure that the average starts only after capturing one frame's worth of time data.
