Question number FAQ-1098

What is multi-frequency range?

This means that you can analyze different frequency ranges simultaneously. An example using FFT analysis software would look like this. The same applies to tracking analysis.

■Example 1

The analysis system shown in Figure 1 allows for simultaneous analysis of the ch1 signal using FFT11 and FFT12.
The frequency range of FFT11 is set to 500Hz, and the frequency range of FFT12 is set to 20kHz. The power spectra of both FFT11 and FFT12 are displayed on the measurement paper. The measurement data is measured simultaneously with a resolution of 800 lines for FFT11 (0-500Hz) and FFT12 (0-20kHz). An example graph is shown in Figure 2.

■Example 2

In the analysis system shown in Figure 3, channel 1 can be analyzed simultaneously using FFT11, and channel 2 using FFT12. For example, channel 1 can receive a microphone signal and channel 2 can receive a vibration acceleration signal, and by setting different frequency ranges for each, simultaneous FFT analysis can be performed.
