How to measure the peak hold of a power spectrum
From the screen displaying the power spectrum, perform the following operations:
- Click the ▼ button next to Average in the remote control palette to open the [Average] dialog box (Figure 1).
- Select "Averaging Mode: Power SP/Additive Averaging" in the [Averaging] dialog box (Figure 2).
- In the [Averaging] dialog box, check "Average count: (Optional)" and set the number of counts (Figure 2). You can also set the average time instead of the number of counts.

Figure 2 - Double-click the selected graph to open the Graph properties (Figure 3).
- In the [Graph] properties, select "Waveform Type: Power Spectrum, MAX HOLD" (Figure 3).
