How to measure the peak hold of a power spectrum

From the screen displaying the power spectrum, perform the following operations:

  1. Click the ▼ button next to Average in the remote control palette to open the [Average] dialog box (Figure 1).
  2. Select "Averaging Mode: Power SP/Additive Averaging" in the [Averaging] dialog box (Figure 2).
  3. In the [Averaging] dialog box, check "Average count: (Optional)" and set the number of counts (Figure 2). You can also set the average time instead of the number of counts.

  4. Select the power spectrum graph object by dragging the mouse to enclose it (Figure 2). The border will turn green when selected.

  5. Double-click the selected graph to open the Graph properties (Figure 3).
  6. In the [Graph] properties, select "Waveform Type: Power Spectrum, MAX HOLD" (Figure 3).
