■Basic button operation

• Press the "MENU" button to enter settings mode.

• A short press of the "MENU" button will return you to the previous item.

• Press and hold the "MENU" button to switch to measurement mode (display of measured values) from any position.

■Operation

• Press the [MENU] button and select the setting mode "OTHERS".
• Selecting "CLEAR" in the Panel Condition settings screen (PANELCONDITION) will clear the backup memory and return it to its initial state.
• Press and hold the [MENU] button to return to measurement mode.

  

  [Regarding saving settings] Backup memory Menu settings are saved in backup memory. When the power is turned on, the settings from backup memory are automatically read. CLEAR This will restore the contents of the backup memory to their initial settings (factory default). CONDITION The backup memory settings can be saved to COND1. You can load the data into backup memory using the LOAD operation.

■Capturing

The measurement conditions used for normal measurements are stored in backup memory. Additionally, measurement conditions can be saved in condition memories 1 through 4. The "CLEAR" operation resets the backup memory settings to their default values, but does not change the condition memories. Condition memories cannot be cleared; new measurement conditions are overwritten using the "SAVE" operation. To use measurement conditions from condition memories, you must load them into backup memory using the "OTHER" → "LOAD" operation in the menu.
