Question number FAQ-0924

TM-3100 Common Question: "What happens to the analog output and comparator output when the MENU button or CONDITION button is pressed during measurement (while rotation speed is being displayed)?"

During measurement,

  1. When you press the MENU button, the analog signal will output a signal equivalent to ANALOG ZERO.
(For example, when the voltage output is set to 1-5V, 1V will be output.)
    The comparator output will stop.
  2. When the CONDITION button is pressed, the analog signal and comparator output will continue to be output.
  3. When you press and hold the CONDITION button to activate key protection,
The analog signal and comparator output will continue to be output.

    * However, "KP" (Key Protect) will not be displayed during this operation. "KP" will be displayed when you press the MENU button or similar.
